Adolescent Classes
Who’s it for?
Adolescence is often a time when dogs become more confident & begin to explore the world by themselves more confidently, sometimes appearing to have ‘forgotten’ their puppy training. This course is designed with this in mind. It is for adolescent dogs aged approximately 6months – 18 months, & their owners, who want to brush up on their puppy training, learn new skills, and re-focus their attention.

What’s involved?
This class will ensure your dog can do what you want them to! We will teach you how to teach settling, loose lead walking, coming back when asked, walking passed other dogs, problem solving, polite greetings, and plenty of fun tricks too.

Beginner Trick Class
Who’s it for?
Trick training using positive reinforcement is a great way to build relationships, mentally stimulate your companion dog, and not to mention can be super fun & cute! If that sounds good to you and you haven’t done any trick training before, then this is the class for you.

What’s involved?
We’ll cover basic principles behind the science of dog training for the human end of the leash, and apply this to teaching your companion some fun tricks, all using force free positive reinforcement methods. An example of some of the tricks we’ll teach are targeting, spins, twists, beg, bow, hold items, roll over, jumping through hoops, reversing on to objects, ‘ring the bell’, remove the sock, and more.
