Case Study Discussion Evening: Rosie the romanian rescue dog: Aggressive behaviour towards unfamiliar people
This event is for aspiring Clinical Animal Behaviourists, trainers, students of animal behaviour, or those accredited Clinical Animal Behaviourists looking to gain more experience on specific problem behaviours.
Tom Rowland will be running the sessions, a CCAB (Certificated Clinical Animal Behaviourist), MSc in Clinical Animal Behaviour & PhD Candidate in Animal Behaviour and Welfare.
Working as a group, possibly in break out rooms depending on numbers attending, we will discuss and practice a scientific and evidence-based approach to managing clinical behavioural complaints.
This evening will be held on 11th July at 7pm, and will likely be 2-3 hours in length.
We will use real case material from Companion Minds caseload. In this case, Rosie presented with aggressive behaviour towards unfamiliar people.
1 week prior to the case you will receive anonymised copies of Rosie’s behaviour history form and her clinical history, as well as access to watching a talk recorded by Tom on the psychobiological approach to clinical animal behaviour, which is the approach we will be taking in the case study.
